The Bunbury Museum and Heritage Centre offers the best of the old and the new in the resources within The Classroom.
As the last classroom added to the building, about 1914, this room has been preserved as the most representative of the school days of the museum building. This includes wooden desks, a fireplace, and map rails.
However, following a major grant from the Chefs Long Table Lunch fundraising event in 2015, the Classroom has also been fitted out for contemporary presentations. This includes state of the art projection facilities, wi-fi and six pc’s. Visitors may also bring their own laptops or equivalent and take advantage of the museum’s wi-fi for research and family history inquiries.
The Classroom has been used for training, book launches and presentations.
