​School Holiday Workshop: Create a Decorative Autumn Trivet
Wednesday 7 July, 10am to 12 noon

A hands-on school holiday workshop exploring the season of Autumn. 
Participants will learn why leaves change colour in the cold weather, the different parts of a leaf, and the role fallen leaves play in the health of our forests - then we will activate our imaginations to decorate a ceramic trivet to take home. 
All materials supplied.
Suitable for ages 5 to 10 years.

What is the best way to find your direction in life? With a good compass of course! Join us at the Bunbury Museum and Heritage Centre to make your own steam-punk compass case fit for a pirate.
Participants will learn a basic history of maps and mapmaking before activating their imaginations to construct a case for a working compass.

Suitable for ages 8 to 12 years/

You can also join us any time during our opening hours to share your favourite childhood memory, make a paper chatterbox, sit in an old school desk, and try to find all the items in our 'spotto' sheets!
