Join us for a free lecture by local historian and journalist David Bailey, who will explain what happened and outline the tragic events that saw defeat become victory in one week as Australians fought on the bloodiest battlefields of World War I.

This is Me is back with another opportunity to connect and celebrate all the vibrant and wonderful cultures that make Bunbury and the South West what it is today - proudly presented by the Bunbury Multicultural Group and City of Bunbury. The featured speaker in September is Dr. Leena Singla, who was born in Punjab, northern India, and moved to Bunbury in 2013 to raise her young family.

Join members of Fremantle’s Fenian Festival Committee and learn about Bunbury’s connection to one of Australia’s greatest prison escapes. Guest speakers include Barbara Kelly, who will discuss her research with Australian author Peter Fitzsimons on his bestseller The Catalpa Rescue, and Peter Murphy, who will speak about John Boyle O’Reilly and his connection to Bunbury.

Temporary exhibition, Touring Gallery
25 September 2021 to 7 November 2021 

A juried exhibition showcasing the works of members from the Ozquilt Network, Australia's organisation for art quilters. Three selectors, Alison Gummow (SA), Sharon Peoples (ACT) and Alysn Midgelow-Marsden (New Zealand) have selected 37 works for this exhibition, each sized 40x40cm - check our Whats On in the Museum page for more information.​
